Adding New Packs to the Vending Machine (All)

Any time you add packs to a vending machine, you need to update LottoShield so the app can accurately track the vending machine inventory.

Use the following procedure to maintain accurate tracking in LottoShield:

1. Activate the pack(s) that you plan to add to the vending machine, either at the terminal or at the vending machine, as normal.
2. Open the LottoShield app
3. Move the Packs to the Vending Machine in LottoShield.
   

   The steps to access this feature depend on your LottoShield service type.

   Managed Service

   If your location uses LottoShield Managed Service:

   • Tap Audit Vending Machine.
     
   • Tap Move Packs to VM.
     

   Basic Service

   If your location uses LottoShield Basic Service:

   1. Tap Move Packs to VM from the top level of the app.
      

4. Scan only the starting ticket number for each new pack, based on roll direction:

   • If your roll direction is High to low → scan the highest ticket number

   • If your roll direction is Low to high → scan the lowest ticket

   Scanning the wrong end of the pack will cause reconciliation errors in LottoShield.

5. Tap Submit.
