Adding Packs That Were Sold Whole To An Audit
Sometimes, you may sell whole packs to a customer before they are audited in the display case. When this happens, LottoShield will record an incorrect movement for that day, and the pack will appear as missing the following day. To resolve this, simply add the pack to the movement of the appropriate audit.
Note: It is a good practice to keep your activation slips of packs that were sold whole to help easily locate them in LottoShield.
- Navigate to Packs > Backstock in the LottoShield Portal. You will see a list of packs in your Backstock.
- In the Search field, enter the pack number of the pack that was sold whole. LottoShield will automatically display the pack that was searched for.
Note: If the pack does not appear, it may already be flagged as missing. In that case, repeat the search process under the Missing Packs tab. -
Click the pack number in the Pack column. You will be brought to the Pack Details page for the selected pack.
- Click $ Pack was sold/removed on the upper right hand side of the page. The Resolve Pack window will appear.
- Click the Add movement to audit checkbox.
- Select the desired audit from the Recent Audits dropdown list.
- Click the Save button.
- The pack and its dollar value will be added to the audit you selected and will be listed as “Sold whole” on the Audit Details page as seen below.
