Fixing “Invalid Barcode” error messages on Datalogic Devices
Some Datalogic (Memor) devices may display an “Invalid Barcode” or fail to scan the barcodes correctly due to corrupted or incorrect scanner configuration.
This issue can be quickly resolved by resetting the scanner configuration in the device settings.
Steps to Resolve
- Open the Device Settings app
- Select Datalogic Settings
- Tap Scanner and Decoder
- Scroll all the way to the bottom and tap Reset Scanner Configuration
- Confirm by pressing OK when prompted
- Click the back arrow on the top left of the screen to return to previous page.
- Click Symbologies Settings
- Click Interleaved Code 2 of 5
- Set L2 length to
48 - Click Save at the bottom right
- Test scanning again — the barcode scanner should now function normally
