Moving Packs to the Vending Machine (Basic Services)

With LottoShield Basic Services, packs must be moved to the vending machine in LottoShield. This removes the packs from backstock inventory, assigns them to the vending machine, and prevents false missing-pack alerts.

If packs are activated but not audited in a display case or moved to the vending machine, LottoShield will trigger missing-pack alerts.

What This Does Not Do

With Basic Service, moving packs to the vending machine only assigns ownership of the packs to the vending machine.

• LottoShield does not track sales from the vending machine

• LottoShield does not perform reconciliation on vending machine packs

• No ongoing monitoring occurs after assignment

Move Packs to the Vending Machine

1. Activate the pack(s) you plan to add to the vending machine as normal.

2. Open the LottoShield app and tap Move Packs to VM.

   

3. Scan only the starting ticket number for each new pack, based on roll direction:

   • High to low → scan the highest ticket number

   • Low to high → scan the lowest ticket number

   Scanning the wrong end of the pack will cause reconciliation errors in LottoShield.

4. Tap Submit.
