Performing an Audit

An audit records the current inventory for all of your displayed scratchers.

An audit should be performed once at the start of every shift. An end of day audit should also be performed minutes before the day report is closed on the register.

  1. If your store closes at night but the register is set to auto close hours after the store close then scanning the end of day inventory will be done when the employee closes the store.

To perform an audit, scan the unique barcode of the current ticket in every slot. The unique barcode is the “long barcode” on a ticket and is different than the UPC code that is scanned at the register during a ticket sale.
