Setting Up LotteryMenu for In-Store TV Displays

LotteryMenu is an add-on subscription service for LottoShield users to display lottery scratcher games on an in-store Google TV or other TV with a Google TV Streamer.

LotterMenu allows customers to:

  • Free up valuable counter space for higher-margin products
  • Enhance the customer experience
  • Drive more lottery sale

Follow the steps below to install the LotteryMenu app on your Google TV, create your display menu, and assign your scratcher games to bins.

Step 1: Set Up Your TV and Install the LotteryMenu App

1. Install and Set Up a Google TV

Google has official partner brands, they can be found here. Other brands and models may also have access to the Google Play Store.

  1. Purchase a Google TV device and set it up in your store.
  2. Connect the TV to your store’s Wi-Fi network.

Note: LottoShield does NOT provide TV installation services or referrals for installers.

2. Install the LotteryMenu App

  1. Open the Google Play Store on your Google TV.
  2. Search for “LotteryMenu”.
  3. Select the app and install it.

Step 2: Create Your Menu

1. Create a New Menu

  1. In the LottoShield portal, click LotteryMenu in the left navigation.
  2. If creating a menu for the first time, click “Start your free trial by creating a menu”. Otherwise, click the Create a Menu button.

2. Configure Menu Settings

Customize how your menu appears on the TV:

  1. Choose screen orientation.
  2. Select the number of bins to display.
  3. Adjust the font size.

Step 3: Pair the TV and Assign Games

1. Pair Your Google TV

  1. On your TV, open the LotteryMenu app.
  2. A pairing code will appear on the screen.
  3. In the portal, click Pair TV and enter the code displayed on your TV.

2. Assign Games to Bins

  1. Open your menu in the portal and click Set Games.
  2. Assign games by searching for them by game number or game name.
  3. Select the correct bin for each game.

Lottery customers may ask for tickets by game name or the bin number displayed on the screen, so this is important.
  4. When finished, click Save & Publish to finish menu setup.
  5. Verify your layout on the display screen.

Note: If a game sells out and you are not able to replace it immediately, you can mark games as Sold Out in LotteryMenu. Click Save & Publish to finish.
