What Is an Audit?
In LottoShield, an audit means using your scanning device to capture the current status of your physical scratcher inventory.
A Display Case Audit is used to compare your current display case inventory to the inventory of the prior Display Case Audit. The next audit will then be compared to the current audit, and so on. This allows LottoShield Lite to track the movement and value of the scratcher inventory that has been removed from the case between audits.
A Backstock Audit is used to confirm the physical presence of your backstock scratcher inventory. While having a state lottery portal connection is helpful for keeping track of your backstock, it is still recommended to conduct regular backstock audits. Used together allows LottoShield to alert you when packs go missing.
