Setting Up The LottoShield Scanner

The LottoShield Scanner

The LottoShield Scanner is the foundation of LottoShield’s daily operations. It’s used to conduct display case and backstock audits, record packs placed into vending machines, and upload vending machine shift report slips—making it the essential tool for managing every aspect of your lottery inventory.

LottoShield offers two options for scanning devices: the LottoShield PDA and the LottoShield Mobile App, which you can install on your own iOS or Android device.

LottoShield PDA (Urovo)

If you selected the LottoShield PDA during signup, your device will be shipped to the store location you specified and will be preconfigured for your company.

Setup is simple, just follow these steps:

  1. Power on the scanner.

  2. Swipe up to access the home screen.

  3. Click WiFi and connect to your stores Wifi Network. Return to the home screen.
  4. Launch the LottoShield application. If it shows that your Wifi is disable, click Try Again.

  5. Select the desired store location. Once selected, your device will be locked to that location.

Your LottoShield Scanner is now ready to Perform Your First LottoShield Pro Display Case Audit.

LottoShield Mobile App

LottoShield offers mobile app versions for both iOS and Android devices. You can download the app using the links provided below.

Once installed, simply sign in with your account’s email address and password to get started.

Note: If you’d like to use a different email address than your main administrator login, you can easily add new users within the Settings section of the LottoShield Portal. This flexibility is especially useful for customers managing multiple store locations, as each location can have its own unique login credentials.
